Infrastructure and Systems for Networks and Telecom (INSERT)

The goal of the Infrastructure and Systems for Networks and Telecom (INSERT) group is to develop innovative solutions that contribute to the future of the Internet, with an emphasis on network evolution, distributed systems, and the integration of emerging technologies. Our research aims to meet the needs of both industry and society, exploring new forms of connectivity, communication protocols, security, and distributed computing. Currently, our research topics include Distributed Ledger Technologies (such as Blockchain), Future Internet Architectures (such as SDN and NDN), Cybersecurity, Mobile Networks, Internet of Things (IoT) Communication, and Artificial Intelligence Applied to Networks.
