Among the proposed new architectures for the Internet in the coming years, NDN is the one that has shown the most progress and enjoys strong support from both industry and academia. Its properties most effectively address the requirements of Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) applications, which are characterized by the use of IoT devices, intense mobility, and communication between various devices. The project's main goal is to investigate how the NDN architecture, when associated with IoT, can assist and drive the development of AAL applications. Status: Ongoing; Nature: Research.
